Tom has lived in Singapore for more than 20 years and has more than 30 years of experience from marine underwriting, marine and energy insurance consulting, shipping risk  management, and insurance broking. In 2008, Tom started Edge Singapore as Managing Director and Founding Partner. His previous work experience includes 11 years of underwriting with Gjensidige and Vesta, 7 years with Aon Asia as Regional Marine Director and as Director for the company’s Singapore marine department. Prior to this, he was employed with Osprey Maritime Limited in Singapore as their Risk Manager. Following the acquisition of Osprey by Gotaas-Larsen, he was promoted to Commercial Manager for the Group. Tom joined Lockton Companies Singapore as a Senior Consultant following the acquisition of the Edge Group in November 2021.
